The Raven Bottle Necklace Inspirational Piece From

Ah those famous words written so long ago, by the famous Edgar Allan Poe ( really I didn't do on purpose to make that rhyme ) This would make an absolutely perfect gift for any Poe fan, a very goth looking piece indeed, striking and sure to get you compliments on it.

This piece is in celebration of his work, I was so pleased to hear that a movie was coming out soon based on his literature

This necklace has a hand sculpted raven made from black clay, with beady eyes, his head bent over peering into the glass bottle he is sitting atop of. He has some silver shimmer here and there to give that lustrous sheen to his feathers.

Inside the bottle is a rolled up burnt scroll with a quote from the ever classic The Raven, it reads:

"Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'
And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted - nevermore!"

The scroll is sealed inside the bottle. Above the raven are three genuine Swarovski jewels in tones of jet black and clear. The whole lot is hanging from a 18'' cable style silver plated chain with spring ring closure. The raven is permanently sealed to the cork with strong jewellers grade glue.

This item comes in a gift box ready for gift giving if you choose to do so and is bubble wrapped for extra shipping precautions.
