Dragons are known for their fierceness and fire breathing and sure they could protect you if they were trained to do so but what could be cuter than your own pocket size baby dragon?
Now you can have your own hanging around your neck, sure to melt the hearts of any who lay eyes on her This little baby's name is Breena, which is derived from Gaelic/celtic and she is just adorable.
Inside the glass dome ( which measures about 1 1/2'' and about 1'' across making it the perfect size )is a highly detailed hand sculpted ( no molds used - ever! )baby dragon. Upon a closer inspection, you can see little scales, sculpted and/or painted, her tiny golden horns are just starting to grow on her forehead. She has deep green eyes looking curiously up at you. Her tail is curled up and she is resting contently on a tiny mushroom ( which is also very detailed, even under the mushroom cap).
As you can tell by the pictures, she is no bigger than a die. She has tiny wings that are still growing out. They are a beautiful purple and black color. The feathers are from a pheasant bird and have been dyed this color.
At the bottom of the mushroom is some real reindeer moss that I picked myself from our great Canadian forests Making the whole miniature scene complete and lifelike.
Everything is secured down with jewelry glue so not to worry about anything getting messed up. The glass dome has also been secured down and will not budge.
The pendant hangs from a generous 32'' long silver plated chain with a spring ring closure. However I also added a second jump ring at 24'' point should you choose to wear the chain a bit shorter, making this necklace convenient to wear with any outfit.
This item comes in a pretty gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.
