Beachy Baubbles, Starfish Necklaces by Secretvixen
Beachy Baubbles, Starfish Necklaces

Hi :)

Summer is just around the corner, time for long maxi dresses, big floppy hats and sunglasses. This necklace would make the perfect last finishing touch to your summer ensemble, sure to get you compliments everytime you wear it :)

Inside the 20 mm glass bubble is a genuine, tiny starfish along with two hand sculpted horn shaped seashells :)

The shells are each unique in shape and size since I never use any molds. The colors I've used for them are a light beige, white and darker browns swirled together, giving them a natural seashell look :)

I've also added some moss and colored sand to complete the look. The miniature ocean floor scenery is set in place using some lightly colored resin and sealed in with a silver plated top.

You have a choice in colored sand which come in natural color, red, purple or blue, please make your selection from the drop down menu or leave me a note in the comment box during checkout time. If there is no color selected, I will attempt to contact you to find out which one you would like. However if I am not successful, I will send you a color of my choosing.

The beachy bubble pendant hangs from a generous 32''' silver plated chain with a spring ring closure and it can be adjusted also to wear as a 24'' necklace as well. See the last image for a reference guide on the length ( to give you an idea ).

This item comes in a pretty gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.

Into the Blue, Octopus Necklace by Secretvixen
Into the Blue, Octopus Necklace

Hi :)

This has to be one of my all time favorite creations! It is definitely not something you find just anywhere. I'm so pleased with the way this piece turned out. If you're the type of person who appreciates the ocean's creatures, specifically the beauty and fascination of the octopus then this necklace is definitely the one for you!

This necklace is made from a real seashell measuring about 2 inches across and 1 1/2'' tall. Inside of it is extremely detailed, hand sculpted, blue octopus, the painted details makes it look very realistic! Many layers upon layers of colors and varnish coats are what makes this octopus life like. It has a 3D effect and the varnish makes the skin look wet and rubbery just like the real thing!

The octopus is also sitting in a pool of water. Forgive me, I tried my best to capture a good shot of the "water" but it's hard to make it stand out on camera. I promise you though that pictures don't do this piece justice! The water is made up of resin, so no mess while wearing it!

The seashell hangs from a generous 32''' silver plated chain with a spring ring closure and it can be adjusted also to wear as a 24'' necklace as well. See the last image for a reference guide on the length ( to give you an idea ).

This item comes in a pretty gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.

Up to no good! Bottle Necklace by Secretvixen
Up to no good! Bottle Necklace
Hi :)

Inspired by witches and wizardry, you're all set for school of magic with this necklace. This is a really cute piece to wear and sure to catch people's curiosity as to what is inside the pendant :)

Inside the glass bottle (measuring 40 mm tall) is a tiny hand sculpted wizard wand along with a "aged" map of all the secret tunnels and hidden paths of the school. The map has been stained and burned edges to give it a weathered look.

The contents of the bottle are permanently sealed inside with a cork and sealant.

On the outside is a burnt paper with the following quote that reads:

" I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

The quote has been glazed to prevent fading over time.

The pendant hangs from a 18'' cable style, silver plated chain with a spring ring closure.

See the last image for a reference guide on the length ( to give you an idea ).

This item comes in a pretty gift box and is bubble wrapped for extra precaution.

ITEM SHIPS 1-3 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE IS MADE.

PLEASE ALLOW BETWEEN 1-4 WEEKS TO RECEIVE YOUR ITEM, "NORMAL" TIME IS USUALLY A WEEK :)

I work in healthcare, but my true passion is arts. I love doing paintings, drawing, murals, sculptures, crafts, jewelry making, nail art, makeup application contracts for special occasions, I've also been commissioned to do murals for restaurants and customers in the past.

I come from a family of four, I being the oldest and only girl. I'm blessed to have a great mom who's always encouraged me and pushed me to follow my dreams working in arts. I live with my boyfriend who is often my second eye and critique of my work, especially when it comes to his beloved vintage cartoons :P

I believe that making something by hand is more rewarding for me than to just go out and buy something that is mass produced, which is why all the things you will find in my shop were all made from scratch, it all started out as a lump of clay. Handmade things have character to them, a reflection of the artist's tastes and personality.

I have had( and still do!) the great pleasure of getting to know my customers and their special stories, from wanting to send one of my pieces to a secret crush, a bride- to -be looking for that special piece to go with her dress, to someone looking to cheer up their heartbroken friend.

I put a lot of time and effort into all my pieces just as if I was making them for myself, so you can be sure you're getting a quality product :)

Please come back and leave some feedback if you enjoy my art, I love to read how people are enjoying my pieces, it pushes me to create more new items for your pleasure :)

hmm that's a tough one, I think I would have to go with Frost then Doyle, although I was so excited for her to come out with a new book, I have to admit I was disappointed with her last one, took me forever to get through it and usually a Merry book lasts me a weekend tops!

Yeah Doyle is my top fav :) hard for him not to be with his "more than life more than I love thee" line from when Taranis captures Mary. Taranis is definitely "mad as a March fuckin hare" can't remember the name of the guy who said that but he was once called "queen maker." Totally agree on the book, poor Sholto but at least he met his daughter :'(

Have you tried Kreslesy Cole? Her Immortals After Dark series is good. Her newest one, Dark Skye is quite funny. A Romeo&Juliet but with immortal creatures and a more entertaining ending is the best was to describe it lol.

Oh queen maker is Barinthus :) I hope she comes up with another book for Merry and that I will be hooked on it like I used to be. Don't get me wrong, I love her Anita books but Merry is what got me hooked on this author. She has so much potential to go further into the Merry novels, I wish she would drop Anita for a while and focus more on her Merry series, I miss reading about them. There was another series that I read and of course I can't remember for the life of me what the author's name is. There was a total of 5 or 6 books that she came up with, they aren't half bad actually. I haven't tried any other authors mostly because I don't have much time to read books lately.
